Best AEO Agencies (2026)
Last Updated on October 28, 2026 by Corey Fox
The best AEO agency depends on what you sell and how much you can spend. For ecommerce brands with a real budget, Victorious and Go Fish Digital publish the most relevant ecommerce and AI Overview results. For enterprise, iPullRank and Seer Interactive go deepest on technical work and measurement. For B2B SaaS, Omniscient Digital and Graphite are built for it. If you run a Shopify or DTC store and want AEO tied to technical SEO and product schema without an agency retainer, I’m one of the options below (disclosed).
Quick picks
- Victorious: best for ecommerce and mid-market brands that want published AI Overview citation results
- Go Fish Digital: best for ecommerce brands that also sell on Amazon, Walmart, or TikTok Shop
- Corey Fox: best for Shopify/DTC brands that want AEO built on technical SEO and product schema (my own service)
- NoGood: best for growth-stage consumer and tech brands, including agentic commerce work
- Siege Media: best for content-led GEO with digital PR and original research
- iPullRank: best for enterprise teams that want technical depth and a structured program
- Seer Interactive: best for enterprise teams that need AI traffic measurement first
- Omniscient Digital and Graphite: best for B2B SaaS and software brands

How I picked these
- A dedicated AEO or GEO service page, not a one-line mention on a generic SEO page.
- Concrete deliverables: schema, prompt research, third-party mention building, AI visibility reporting.
- Published proof I could link. If an agency doesn’t publish numbers, I say so.
- Pricing transparency. Most agencies here don’t publish prices, which is worth knowing before a sales call.
- Fit for ecommerce and Shopify/DTC. Several ecommerce-capable agencies don’t mention Shopify at all.
What an AEO agency should actually do
- Schema and product data. Product, Organization, FAQ, and Review markup that is valid and doesn’t conflict (Shopify themes and apps often output duplicate Product schema). My free Shopify Schema Conflict Checker shows whether your store has this problem.
- Citation gap analysis. For your priority buyer questions, which sources do ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews cite, and why aren’t you one of them? This should be a list of specific URLs and domains, not a score.
- Third-party mention building. AI answers lean on roundups, review sites, Reddit threads, and publisher coverage. A real program earns placements there.
- Brand accuracy monitoring. Checking what AI engines say about your pricing, products, shipping, and policies, and fixing the sources behind wrong answers.
- Content structured for answers. Pages that answer the question in the first few lines, use headings that match how people ask, and include specific numbers, comparisons, and dates.
Red flags
- Guaranteed AI rankings or citations. No one controls what ChatGPT or AI Overviews cite.
- “Proprietary AI score” with no prompt list. If they can’t show you the exact prompts they track, you can’t verify progress.
- llms.txt as the main deliverable. It’s a small, optional file. It isn’t a strategy.
- No technical audit. If AI crawlers can’t reach your pages or your schema is broken, content and PR work underperforms.
- Fake reviews or undisclosed Reddit posting. It gets brands banned and creates negative mentions AI engines pick up.
1. Victorious: best for ecommerce and mid-market brands
Victorious is a San Francisco SEO agency with dedicated AEO, GEO, and AI SEO service pages, plus platform-specific pages for ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini, Copilot, and Claude. Key features
- Audit and roadmap covering entity alignment, coverage gaps, and AI citation quick wins
- Query research using search data, AI prompts, People Also Ask, and site search

Pricing: $1,500/month for the Foundation retainer; $1,500 fixed audit, credited in full if you start a retainer within 30 days (coreyfox.com/shopify-seo-services/, as of October 2026). Link building is only included on the two higher tiers.
Pros
- You work directly with the senior person, no account manager layer
- Published fixed prices
- Shopify-specific: themes, apps, collections, product schema
Cons
- One person, not an enterprise team. Capacity is limited.

10. First Page Sage: best for B2B thought leadership and list inclusion
First Page Sage is a Berkeley, CA agency founded in 2009 (per Clutch) with separate GEO, AEO, and agentic search optimization pages. Its GEO approach centers on getting into ranked list articles and databases that LLMs draw from. Industry pages include B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, fintech, and e-commerce, but its content and lead gen offers lean B2B.

- List creation and optimization for ranked roundup articles
- Database inclusion work
- Structured data and schema implementation
Published results: None on the GEO or AEO pages, only client logos.

- Direct focus on list and roundup inclusion, which AI answers lean on heavily
- No long-term contract lock-in

- No published GEO results
- B2B lean
Best for: B2B companies that want to be named in industry roundups and comparison lists.
How to choose
- Start with your platform. If you’re on Shopify, ask every agency for Shopify-specific examples. Several ecommerce agencies here don’t list Shopify, and Shopify themes and apps create schema and duplicate URL issues that generalists miss.
- Check your foundation first. Run a page through my Citability Scorer and check your schema before paying for content. If the basics are broken, a fix sprint is cheaper than a year-long retainer.
- Ask for the prompt list. A good agency will show you the exact buyer questions they’ll track, and which sources currently win each one.
- Match budget to scope. Under $3K/month, expect a focused consultant or a narrow program. $6K+/month gets you agency-level content and PR. Enterprise programs often start well above $50K.
- Ask how they’ll fix wrong AI answers, including which sources they’ll correct.
FAQ
What is an AEO agency?
An AEO agency helps your brand get cited and recommended in AI answers from ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Perplexity. The work combines technical SEO, structured data, answer-focused content, and earning mentions on third-party sites.
How much do AEO services cost?
Most agencies don’t publish prices. Published figures as of October 2026 range from $1,500/month for a solo Shopify consultant, to about $6,000/month recommended at Victorious, to $120,000/year at Omniscient Digital.
Is AEO different from GEO?
They’re mostly two names for the same work. AEO (answer engine optimization) and GEO (generative engine optimization) both mean getting your brand cited in AI-generated answers, and most agencies use the terms interchangeably.
Can an agency guarantee AI citations?
No. No agency controls what AI engines cite, so a guarantee is a red flag. What they can commit to is specific deliverables and transparent tracking on a fixed prompt set.
Which AEO agency is best for Shopify brands?
For larger ecommerce budgets, Victorious, Go Fish Digital, NoGood, and Siege Media all list ecommerce work, though none of their AEO pages mention Shopify by name. For Shopify stores doing $1M to $10M that want AEO tied to technical SEO and product schema, I offer a $1,500/month retainer (my own service).
How this list is maintained
I checked every agency’s own website and Clutch profile in October 2026. Prices, minimums, ratings, and case-study numbers are only included if I saw them on a page linked above. I’ll update this list as agencies change their offers. My own service is included and labeled with a disclosure. There are no paid placements in this version. If you run one of these agencies and something is out of date, contact me.
